Baby Seal - Extinct

A Baby Seal requests..

"Norway and Canada have a new kind of tourism. Killing baby seals!!!! They call it 'hunting' and it's a sport. You want to call this sport ?? Can they be called as sportsman??? Why should they kill us?

You're our only hope !!! Please let it stop. This barbarism shouldn't be possible in our society.

Don't turn your back on us, we are so defenseless, we have no guns, please help us..!!!

I know these images seem painful for you, but we feel the pain...!! We are being slaughtered by ruthless people and it's going on RIGHT NOW...!!!

What gives him the right to kill us. Who is he to decide about life and death

What kind of sport is this..?? I didn't harm anyone..!! I was just swimming around doing nothing, now I'm dead...!!

Please help me and my friends...!!!

You can't just ignore these images..?? Keep silent and doing nothing makes you guilty...!!

Please help us...!!

Please don't leave us alone...!!"

If this goes on like this, even seals will get extincted.

Make a statement "STOP THE KILLING OF SEALS" by forwarding this blog link to as many people as you can.

Let us save them from now on.

Your action is much appreciated. Thanks!!!

Save Life - Beware of Ants

Please read this and advise your friends and family! You may save others' lives!

Incident One: A little boy died because surgeons found ants in his brain! Apparently this boy fell asleep with some sweets in his mouth or with some sweet stuff beside him.

Ants soon got to him and some ants in fact crawled into his ear which somehow managed to go to his brain. When he woke up, he did not realize that ants had gone to his head.

After that, he constantly complained about itchiness around his face. His mother brought him to a doctor, but the doctor could not figure out what was wrong with him. He took an X-ray of the boy and to his horror; he found a group of live ants in his skull. Since the ants were still alive, the doctor could not operate on him because the ants were constantly moving around. The boy finally died. So please be careful when leaving food stuff near your bed or when eating in bed. This might attract ants. Most importantly,

NEVER you or your child eat sweets before going to bed. You or your child might attract ants while you are asleep.

Incident Two: Another similar incident happened in a hospital in Taiwan . This man was warded in the hospital and was constantly warned by the nurses not to leave food stuff by his bedside because there were ants about. He did not heed their advice. Ants finally got to him. His family members said that the man constantly complained about headaches. He died and a postmortem or autopsy was done on him. Doctors found a group of live ants in his head. Apparently, the ants had been eating bits of his brain. So friends, better be safe than sorry. Never leave food stuff beside your bed you when you go to sleep.

M.V.Kamath, Journalist

A photo taken in "The Cosmos Cafe", which is a 3 Star Hotel in Manipal. The 60+ yrs old man, whom u can see in this photo is Mr.M.V.Kamath, who was the greatest journalist during the freedom fighters time (1940's).

It happened so that I went to a trip from my office (NDS) and stopped at Manipal, near Mangalore for a dinner around 7pm.

We found 3 sofas and ran to catch them to give a pose for photo. Next to us, Hotel Manager of that hotel was speaking to a man.

During that time, manager introduced us to this great man as "Do you know who he is? He is Mr.M.V.Kamath, journalist during the time of freedom fighters".

Mr. M.V.Kamath is a very simple man and soft in his speech. I found him as a very friendly person too.

This post is just a small gift for him.

Well, to end this blog I can suggest you one thing, during leisure time to earn small amount of money kindly register for free but earn money from http://www.mylot.com/HemaSrini. It has worked for me.

Advantage of being in one school for 10 to 12 years

Might be, you would have been surprised by seeing this title.

I am a live example for a student studying in different schools at different places but in same city.

I did my lower and upper kintergarden, and primary classes in Assumption English Primary School, near Rajajinagar opposite to ESI Hospital. We were staying in Prakashnagar during this time. Mom was a house wife.

In 1986, my mother got into a school named Krishi Bharathi English School which was part of Adarsha Educational Trust. Then we moved to Hebbal in 1987, an outskirt of Bangalore during that time. Hence, I lost contact with all my friends, whom i am still searching but in vain. I lost the good teachers I had around me. My favourite teacher was Nirmala, Carona Joseph. But couldn't find them again till today. Lost a physical contact with six cousins who were with us in Rajajinagar, because everyone would be busy with their own school, college.

From 1987 to 1991, I did my higher secondary primary and high school classes (5th to 8th) at the same school where mom worked then joined a different school. Again lost the contacts between good teachers, and friends.

1992 and 1993 did my high school classes (9th and 10th or SSLC) in Sharada Vidya Niketan,
Malleswaram. New teachers, travel distance (from hebbal to malleswaram - 12 kms) all were factors which made me weak in my studies. Completed my school in 1993 and joined the same junior college but at Vijayanagar. Again the contact between friends got lost.

After completing my junior college in 1995 joined Degree College in R.T.Nagar, again lost the contacts between friends.

Thus, inspite of having desire to keep in touch with friends and teachers I could not succeed.

May I, its advantageous to study in one school from kindergarden till SSLC or junior college due to following reasons:

  • Teachers are second parent so they understand us better and communicate among other teachers. This would be helpful for our studies and adds value for our identity.
  • Friends for ever, yes friends will be in touch for ever.

Childhood

Hi All,

Childhood is a first episode of life. From our age 0 to 12 years. Which is followed by the sweet teenage, then the adolescence and finally the old age, which can also be termed as retirement age.

Many of us, feel that we have lost our childhood. Days which gave us the sweetest memories for the entire life. I too fall in this category, when I see my son the Little Master, Aditya who is going to be 5 years old on May 5th 2009. But sometimes I feel, the childishness is still hidden in us, and at times it gives us immense pleasure when experienced.

This is just my first blog to begin with.
